How to make Money Through Production of Liquid Soap in Nigeria

Soap is a substance, which is able to mix with water and oil, used for cleaning, often in the form of a solid bar or in liquid form.

 First, let me explain certain functions of these chemicals to be used for the production;

1. ¼ Nitrosol: it makes your product thick and clean.


 2. ⅛ Caustic soda: It removes stain.

 3. 2ltrs Sulphonic acid or Texapon:  it serves as foamy agent.

4. ½ Water soluble colour: it adds colour to your product.

 5. ¼ Formalin: It preserves your product from being spoilt.

 6. ⅛ Soda Ash: it serves as a regulator for caustic soda.

 7. ½ Perfume: it gives your product fragrance.

 8. ¼ STPP: it makes your product thick and clean.

 Note 1: those measurements are for 30 litres only.

 Those are the certain functions of those chemicals for producing liquid soap.

Note 2: Formalin is regarded as an harmful substance that can cause cancer if abused, so be cautious when applying it. Do not inhale or let it touch any part of your body. Wash the affected part of the body with water immediately after exposure.

You are advised to use gloves in the course of the production.

 Be cautious with all chemicals and keep out from the reach of children.

Note 3: Caustic Soda and Soda Ash are to be diluted separately in 1 litre of water for good 24hours before mixing with other chemicals so as to produce effective result. Don't mix the two together.

PROCESSES

1. Mix Sulphonic acid with 1 litre of water in a bowl till it dissolves.

 2. Mix STPP with 1 litre of water in a different bowl till it dissolves.

 1. Find a big bucket and measure 30 litres of water in it, make sure you find a long stick before pouring any chemical in it.

 2. Slowly, start stirring and mixing the Nitrosol simultaneously in the big bucket to avoid too much thickness, continue mixing till the Nitrosol gets fully mixed.

 3. Pour the dissolved Sulphonic acid and STPP in the big bucket and mix them for like 12 minutes.

 4. After those chemicals are mixed, stir the Caustic soda and the Soda Ash you dissolved for 24 hours in the big bucket and mix them for minutes.

 5. Add little quantity of Formalin for preservation.

Note 4: Remember I said this chemical (formalin) was dangerous, so handle it with care.


 6. Add Water Soluble Colour to it and mix it for 5 minutes.

 7. Finally, add your perfume and mix it for minutes.

 You are good to go!
